The Hippie Mafia
It was in the 90’S in New York City that Marcus met Richard Stratton. Stratton arrested in 1982 and convicted under the kingpin statue for importation of marijuana and hashish was originally sentenced to 25 years without parole. Stratton became a jailhouse lawyer and had his sentence vacated after serving 8 years. This series of limited edition prints by Marcus based on Stratton’s current Auto biographical Book Series, Smugglers Blues: A True Story of the Hippie Mafia and Kingpin: Prisoner in the War on Drugs.
